The Importance of Giving Back

At Modern Line Furniture, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. Recently, our Sales Manager, Veronika Lemeshenkova, had the privilege of coordinating a furniture donation to Habitat for Humanity, an incredible organization dedicated to building and improving homes for those in need.

From the moment we arrived, Veronika stated: "We knew this was more than just a delivery—it was an opportunity to make a meaningful impact." Alongside with Jackie Morrill, the Procurement Coordinator, we unpacked boxes, assembled furniture, and staged it for use. This hands-on experience reminded us how even the smallest contributions can create lasting change. Our conversations with Jackie reinforced the importance of supporting organizations that work tirelessly to help others. We were also deeply honored to receive a recognition letter from Habitat for Humanity after the donation—thank you, Jackie, and the entire Habitat team!

More Than Just a Donation

While we regularly make financial contributions to organizations such as Paralyzed Veterans of America, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Vietnam Veterans of America, and others, we’ve found that in-person donations offer something uniquely rewarding. They allow us to build deeper relationships with those we support and witness the direct impact of our efforts.

"This year, we’re doubling down " says Veronika "on hands-on giving opportunities to strengthen our connection with the community and the people we serve. These experiences not only enrich the lives of those we help but also inspire us to continue finding new ways to make a difference."
